The third annual Governor’s Education Initiative Awards were presented by Governor Dave Heineman at the State Conference luncheon on Thursday, November 19th. The awards are given annually to highlight exemplary practices in cultivating parent involvement in Nebraska’s public schools. Four districts were recognized for their efforts this year. Each district received a plaque from the Governor and a check for $1,000 presented by Craig Pease on behalf of ALICAP (NASB’s All Lines Interlocal Cooperative Aggregate Pool). The districts include:
