The Nebraska Council of School Attorneys (NCOSA) is a professional organization for attorneys who represent public school districts and practice in the area of school law in the state of Nebraska. Many of the attorneys participating in NCOSA represent several districts and primarily practice school law.

NCOSA attorneys receive professional development and current information on state and federal laws, as well as case law, which affect public schools. By their membership in NCOSA, these attorneys are in a position to provide the best possible service to Nebraska school districts.

Also, NCOSA sponsors the Nebraska School Law Seminar (SLS) every June. The SLS recruits attorneys from around the state and nation to come together to present their expertise on a variety of school law topics. The SLS is one of the most well attended legal presentations in the state. The target audience for the SLS includes attorneys, as well as other school officials who are interested in increasing their knowledge and understanding on issues important to our schools and children.
