About the Service...

The role of the NASB Superintendent Search Service is to assist your board in the procurement of a quality superintendent who will lead the district to ensure a quality education for all students.

The Board of Education will receive customized services through the collaborative work with the search service as we design the timeline to embrace complete commitment to the search including, but not limited to: recruitment, screening, reference checks, scheduling and protocol for candidate interviews, planning meetings with the board, administrators, staff, students and community members, etc. The NASB Search Service approach is flexible; recognizing the expectations and needs of each board varies.

How Much Does It Cost?

The cost of the NASB Superintendent Search Service is based on the school district enrollment and the services requested. NASB will work with the board to design a search process that will address the district needs and schedule. NASB Search Service Success...

In a direct response to our members’ requests for assistance, NASB began a Superintendent Search Program in November of 1982. For more than 25 years, staff has successfully completed more than 170 searches. The service is carefully designed to provide the board accountability and control throughout the search process. The association provides the service as part of our continued commitment to foster strong board/superintendent relationships and to enhance school district leadership in Nebraska.
